Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. will celebrate the grand opening of its London, Ontario, general rental facility on Friday, July 28. The event will take place at the store between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and will showcase the facility’s new 7,000-square-foot showroom and product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies.

HERC will celebrate the grand re-opening of its Harrisburg, Pa., general rental facility the previous day, July 27, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and will showcase the facility’s new 27,000-square-foot showroom and newly-expanded product line.

As part of Hertz’s commitment to provide services for small to medium-sized contractors and homeowners, both locations offer a broad range of products, including lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. They also offer a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl. In addition, HERC Harrisburg features rental of F-150s, dump trucks and crane trucks, and houses an equipment-refurbishing center that is also used for equipment auctions. Equipment is available to rent or buy at both locations.

At the grand opening events, vendor demonstrations and literature will be available, a free lunch will be catered, and giveaways will be provided onsite while supplies last.
The new London, Ontario, facility is housed on a one-and-a-half-acre lot north of Highway 401. Its hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon.

The newly renovated Harrisburg facility is housed on a five-acre lot. Its hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
