The Grun Co., manufacturers of erosion control and environmental equipment, has signed several of the industry’s leading manufacturers’ rep companies to represent its products in all territories not covered by Lew Hudson Sales. The company has added Cardinal Sales, MJ Miller Companies, and Wirant Sales to represent its lines in various regions.

Based in Brooklyn. N.Y., and owned by rental industry veteran Pat DeVitto, Cardinal Sales will represent Grun Co. in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Ontario, Canada.

“Erosion control is the fastest-growing category in our industry,” said DeVitto. “We chose to represent The Grun Co. because Grun products have no channel conflicts or resale restrictions for our rental and construction equipment dealers.”

MJ Miller, also a rental industry veteran, will represent Grun in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Veteran California rep company Wirant Sales will take on the line in California and northern Nevada.

Lew Hudson Sales, with a staff of 18 sales representatives covering 17 states, will represent Grun in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.

In other Grun news, Williams Equipment & Supply last week signed as Grun’s exclusive dealer serving the mid-South in western Tennessee, Mississippi, northeastern Arkansas and Louisiana. Williams has 10 locations in those states. Williams also handles Bobcat equipment, Multiquip, Ingersoll-Rand, Takeuchi, Wacker and about 30 others.
