Australian Aerial Company Makes Acquisition
Force Corp., Australia’s largest privately owned access rental company, recently paid AU $10 million (about U.S. $8 million) to acquire the business assets of All Star Access. The purchase is the Brisbane-based Force Corp.’s fourth acquisition in the past 12 months.
Founded in 1994, and formerly known as Australian Skyreach Equipment, now has 12 branches throughout Australia, with an annual revenue of more than AU $60 million. In the past year, Force Corp. acquired General Rentals in Brisbane and Townsville, and Tru Blue Hire in Darwin.
All Star is based in Melbourne, with a fleet of 260 aerial machines, focused on renting to the industrial segment. All Star owner Paul Herreen will continue with Force Corp. as operations manager for the state of Victoria.
