F&M Mafco, a Cincinnati-based distributor of construction and industrial supplies, has agreed to acquire Carolina Industrial Tools, based in Charlotte, N.C. Carolina is a distributor of tools, equipment, consumables, machinery and related products.

F&M Mafco distributes, sells and rents construction tools and equipment, industrial supplies, welding products, crawler, hydraulic, pedestal, rough-terrain, and truck-mounted cranes, hoists and derricks. It supplies the steel, petrochemical, power generation and other industries.

The company has branches in Birmingham, Ala.; Carson City, Nev.; Evansville, Ind.; Houma, La.; Kansas City, Mo.; Orlando, Fla.; St. Croix, Virgin Islands; Nottingham, U.K., and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
