Finning International last week named Andy Fraser managing director of Finning Group UK, effective Nov. 1. Fraser will replace Nick Lloyd, current managing director, who will retire, effective December 31, after a 38-year career with Finning.

Fraser, currently group vice president of Finning Canada, will report directly to president and CEO of Finning International Doug Whitehead.

Fraser joined Finning in 1979, and has held numerous positions in parts, customer service and equipment sales. He was appointed vice president, redistribution for Finning International in 2000; vice president, operations and customer relations for Finning Canada in 2001, and vice president, sales and marketing in 2003, before being promoted to his current position in 2005.

Finning International is one of the world’s largest Caterpillar equipment dealers, operating as dealer in Western Canada, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Uruguay. Finning also owns Hewden, the largest rental company in the U.K., and its North American rental operations, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is No. 16 on the RER 100.
