Rental companies will buy half of all construction machines in Europe within four years, a Caterpillar official predicted last week. Cat Rental Stores throughout the continent have been increasing expenditures to meet demand, Andy Zuckerman, Caterpillar’s rental division manager recently told Internet sources.

Zuckerman said the British rental industry is the strongest and will be emulated by other countries. He added that Caterpillar dealers will add more branches. There are currently more than 600 Cat Rental Stores in Europe.

Caterpillar recently reached an agreement to set up rental organizations in Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands through dealer Pon Equipment.
