Multi-National Cramo Acquires Finnish Rental Company
Cramo Finland, a subsidiary of Helsinki, Finland-based Cramo PLC, recently signed an agreement to purchase the assets of Oskarin Vuokrakone, a three-location Finnish rental company that grossed about €0.8 million (about U.S. $1.09 million, according to current conversion rates.) in 2006.
The asset purchase will strengthen the multi-national Cramo’s market position in central Finland. Cramo operates in 10 countries in Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe, with more than 250 branches.
Oskarin Vuokrakone’s seven employees will remain with the company, Cramo president and CEO Vesa Koivula said in a statement posted on Cramo’s website.
