Malaysian Equipment Company to Start Chinese Rental Branch

UMW Corp., a Malaysian equipment company, last week said it received a certificate of approval from the Shanghai Foreign Investment Committee to incorporate a rental and fleet management company known as Vision Fleet Equipment Leasing Shanghai.

UMW said the company’s main business will be in rental and fleet management of forklifts, sweepers, scrubbers, refuse trucks, airport ground support equipment, compressors and others.

The total registered capital will be about U.S. $5 million, company sources said.
