Aggreko LLC, the world’s leading supplier of rental power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air, last week named Bruce Pool west business unit vice president, reporting directly to Aggreko president George Walker. Pool will be responsible for the western half of the North American business and Aggreko Cooling Tower Services.

Pool joined Aggreko in November 1998 as local sales representative, and later went on to become service center manager, area sales manager for South Texas, and area general manager — vice president, South Texas.

“[Pool] has demonstrated strong leadership and business understanding which have made him a vital part of the company’s executive management team,” Walker said. “He will become instrumental in laying the groundwork for future growth of Aggreko’s North American operations.”

Based in Houston, Aggreko is No. 13 on the RER 100.
