Vp Acquires First Engineering’s Rental Division

Harrowgate, England-based Vp, last week said its subsidiary Torrent Trackside has acquired Firs Engineering’s small plant division for about £1.2 million (about U.S. $2.5 million). The acquired business will be integrated within Torrent Trackside’s rail portable plant rental business supporting the United Kingdom’s major track maintenance, renewals and project contractors.

First Engineering is a subsidiary company of Babcock International Group PLC.
