The American Rental Association last week released data that suggests spending will increase next year at The Rental Show, scheduled for Feb. 26-29 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
More than 70 percent of the more than 700 rental operators who responded to a November online survey done by the association said they believe rental business conditions will improve in 2004. Approximately 58 percent of respondents reported that their business revenues are better this year than in 2002.
The survey also found that 41.5 percent of survey participants report they will buy more new equipment in 2004, and nearly 46 percent plan to buy about the same amount of equipment as in 2003.
