Tat Hong, a Singapore-based crane and infrastructure rental company, posted a net profit increase of 105 percent for the six months ended September 30, 2003. Volume for the period was $108.2 million, an 11 percent jump.

Tat Hong is listed on the Singapore and Sydney stock exchanges and is ranked by U.K.-based International Cranes as the world’s 12th largest crane rental company, with locations in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia. The company claims to own the world’s second largest crawler cranes fleet and the third largest fleet of cranes in Asia.

Also a major player in earthmoving, Tat Hong represents Hitachi, Sumitomo, Grove, Kawasaki, IHI Construction, Kobelco, Link Belt and others.
