Two men were arrested last week after stealing more than $500,000 worth of equipment and tools from rental centers and construction sites in the Albany, N.Y., area. Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy III told theAlbany Times-Union that at least 20 businesses were burglarized.

The two men posed as construction workers and took machines from construction sites in broad daylight, as well as nighttime robberies. Equipment included front-end loaders, cement mixers and various tools and accessories. The men stole a variety of items from True Value Hardware and Rent-All in Clifton Park, N.Y.

Police have recovered some of the equipment but expect to find more as the investigation continues.
