Holt Cat, the Caterpillar equipment and engine dealer for South, Central, North and Northeast Texas, displayed the new Cat 336EH hybrid excavator at Earth Day Dallas recently. The hybrid excavator provides up to 50-percent greater fuel efficiency in comparison to the 336D model and uses up to 25-percent less fuel compared to Caterpillar’s 336E. In terms of CO2 emissions reduction, by using 25-percent less fuel operating the hybrid excavator is equivalent to taking 12 passenger vehicles off the road annually, according to the EPA....More
