Just when you think you have all the toys you need, the technology gods invent new gadgets. The latest? Handheld computer/cell phones that deliver weather reports, stock quotes and e-mail on micro-mini-screens. Called mobile data communications products, these devices combine your computer, pager, phone and organizer into one. Plus companies such as Sprint PCS, Sun Microsystems and Yahoo! are configuring applications for the gizmos that could let users find parking in a nearby garage from down the street, or tee times at the local golf course. Talk about information overload.

Arizona-based Rental Service Corp. sales reps are already using palm-top computers to share information quickly and conveniently on jobsite leads, equipment availability and account profiles.
