Triple-L trailers from JLG incorporate a Power Deck hydraulic system that allows the operator to lower and raise the deck hydraulically in less than 15 seconds so loading and unloading a trailer is more efficient. There is no need for cumbersome ramps, ascending grades or using additional personnel. The trailers are designed to allow companies to enhance safety, reduce transport costs and increase customer service. Along with nine models of flatbed trailers with capacities to 10,000 pounds and decks as wide as 6 feet by 16 feet in length, there are eight models of utility trailers with sidewalls surrounding the deck and a rear gate. They have capacities up to 9,000 pounds and decks measuring as wide as 6 feet by 14 feet in length. There are also three fully enclosed trailers to keep equipment secure and out of the weather. All three models have a 7-foot interior height and they are as large as 5-feet, 10-inches wide by 12-feet, 6-inches long.

Up-N-Atom
The Retriever from Up-N-Atom is a patented truck bed that is designed to help rental centers transport heavy equipment quickly, easily and at a lower cost. An air-operated, curved and hinged design reduces deck weight, creating greater payload capacity. Its shallow loading angle — as low as 10.8 degrees — allows equipment to be driven aboard while the curved shape eliminates break-over damage. A lower, more stable “on-the-road” deck height improves safety. The Retriever permits smaller vehicles to move heavier payloads — non-CDL trucks can handle as much as 13,000 pounds and tandems of a full 30,000 pounds. The Retriever uses the truck's own air system to raise and lower the deck and bi-fold ramp. Moving parts are virtually eliminated, which can reduce maintenance costs.

The Demco Model DT6000 aluminum tilt-bed trailer has an overall trailer length of 20 feet and a bed length of 14 feet. The trailer has a gross vehicle weight rating of 5,980 pounds with a maximum loading degree incline of 15¼. The trailer has surge brakes on all four wheels with self-adjusting uni-servo brake shoes. Winches and tie-down chains are standard. The DT6000 also features rubber torsion axle suspension and sealed bearing hubs and spindles, so the user never has to repack wheel bearings again, according to the company.

Rogers Ultima Series of lowboy trailers now includes a 55-ton capacity production model that features a 20-foot loaded deck height, 25-foot deck length and a 98-foot swing clearance. Cambered mainbeams, fabricated with 100k psi and 130k psi materials reduce the trailer's tare weight while maintaining strength and durability. Specialized Ultima models offer a wide selection of payload capacities, deck styles, gooseneck lengths, and other options and accessories to simplify hauling needs. The number of hauling configurations can be maximized by taking advantage of Ulitma's detachable rear frame, interchangeable decks and detachable axles. Rogers' patented No Foot self-lifting gooseneck, which quickly and easily raises or lowers the front of the deck under full load without a ram foot contacting the ground, is standard equipment.

The 12,000-pound capacity Lo Riser inclining platform trailer features a 74-inch by 14-foot, 8-inch load carrying platform that can be hydraulically lowered to ground height. With a flip of the control switch, the operator controls the raising and lowering of the trailer. Landoll recently introduced the availability of an option called hot-dip galvanizing available on large trailer frames. Galvanizing extends the life of the steel and provides maintenance-free corrosion for 75 years or more in most environments, according to the American Galvanizers Association. A coating hardness greater than that of steel alone, galvanized steel provides a durable, scratch-resistant coating that maintains the integrity of the overall corrosion protection system. Paint options are available to meet customer specifications.
