The new TX5519 Terex telehandler has replaced its predecessor, the TX5119. The TX5519 incorporates an innovative cab design, ergonomically designed interior and easy-to-use joystick controls. This telehandler has a 5,500-pound maximum lift capacity and an 18-foot, 10.4-inch maximum lift height. With a variety of available attachments, the TX5519 works for large and small construction, masonry, farming and landscaping uses.

Features on the telehandler include an infinitely variable hydrostatic drive and fully hydraulic proportional boom controls for smooth and precise positioning. A new larger hydraulic pump improves speed and allows simultaneous multiple boom functions. The TX5519 is available with three drive modes: two-wheel, four-wheel coordinated or four-wheel crab steer.

Heather Krause and Beau Anderson, product managers for Terex, say that the TX5519 has smooth controls, making the unit quick and nimble.

“I think the biggest advantage of the TX5519 is that it's physically the smallest and lightest telehandler of this capacity range,” says Krause. “Operationally, there is no bounce in the boom. These features make it competitively a great model to buy.” She also says the size makes it easy to put on a truck.

“The new TX5519 has a bigger lifting capacity than the previous TX5119, and serviceability has been improved,” says Anderson. “It has an ergonomic cab design that operators enjoy using.”
