Bandit's stump grinders feature heavy-duty frames that provide a stable grinding platform. All stump grinders include a unique bearing pivot design that provides durability and dependability for the pivot motion of the cutter wheel. All cutter wheels are large in diameter and equipped with lots of teeth to ensure a smooth, productive cut. The towable Bandit stumpers feature control arms that swing in two directions and are highly maneuverable with tight turning radiuses.

“Our track unit is able to get into environments that are inaccessible for wheeled units,” says Ray Eluskie, marketing product manager for Bandit Chippers. “This allows the customer to grind in mud or sand without the fear of getting stuck.”

The Auto Feed Plus control option is available on all models, automatically stopping the movement of the cutter wheel should it lug to the point of stalling. The wheel is backed out of the cut and the swing re-started once the wheel and engine have regained full rpm. The stump grinders — models 2100, 2800, 2800 Towable, 3200, and 3200 Towable (pictured) — feature horsepower ranging from 25 to 79.

“Our machines are built with ease of operation and low maintenance in mind,” Eluskie says. “All cylinder lugs feature hardened, greaseable bushings. The greaseable points reduce the amount of wear and provide smoother grinding for the life of the machine.”
