JLG enhances the utility of its aerial work platforms with Workstation in the Sky accessories, which make above ground jobs more efficient, increase productivity, free operators from ground-based tools, relieve job site congestion, reduce noise, emissions and fuel consumption, conserve platform space, add to superior working conditions and mitigate strenuous non-productive activity.

“Now for the first time, the working equipment — welders, saws, washers, lights or power for electric and pneumatic tools — can go up with the workers, increasing productivity, optimizing safety and eliminating the need for ancillary equipment,” says Jeff Ford, product manager. “Greater value to the customer translates to a higher rental rate for the rental outlet and a higher return on investment.”

The SkyPower system is a built-in 7,500-watt generator with power lines running inside the power track to a 110-V GFIC platform outlet.

The SkyWelder system has a 250-amp Miller CST 250 welder in the platform powered by the integrated SkyPower system. The SkySaw system is an integrated concrete sawing and drilling package using an on-board hydraulic pump and featuring a saw manipulator. The package includes the SkyCleaner on-board pressure washer with a water line running through the power track.

The SkyBright system is a four or six light package providing up to 6,000 watts of light, which is integrated onto a variety of JLG boom lifts with platform heights ranging from 40 to 135 feet.
