The Allmand Port-A-Lite 1250W2 metal halide light stand provides portable, high-intensity lighting for a variety of applications. The light stand features Allmand's exclusive super high output fixture.

The exclusive SHO parallel lamp fixtures are at least 33 percent more efficient than competitive fixtures and provide up to 50 percent more light output. The parallel design holds the lamp in the optimum horizontal burning position and insulated lamp tip supports isolate the lamp from damaging vibration.

The light system uses one 1,250-watt SHO lamp fixture, which is 25 percent brighter than the model it replaces. The single-fixture light features a smooth, rounded two-wheel base and a telescoping tower that extends to a height of 10 feet. A sturdy, welded-steel frame combined with heavy-duty ball-bearing wheels increase the unit's durability. Worldwide and domestic voltages are available.

“The broad appeal affords rental centers the opportunity to expand their business,” says Jack Lockwood, national sales manager. “In addition, the structural integrity of the product along with its performance characteristics enhance the rental center's overall image and provides high utilization of the product, increasing return on investment.”

The lights boost worker productivity and safety in concrete finishing, paving, masonry, roofing, excavation, mining, refineries, quarries, demolition, waterfronts, training sites and special events.
