MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — ServicePlus, the repair and maintenance service subsidiary of JLG Industries, is looking to expand into additional market areas over the next year after a successful nine-month period in Houston, Joe Gullion, ServicePlus president said recently.

“Our volume of business in Texas has met our goals and we're now evaluating expansion into other markets, including Southern California, Southern Florida, Chicago and Atlanta,” said Gullion. “Precise timing will depend on finding the right locations, staffing and acquiring the necessary equipment.”

JLG opened the first ServicePlus facility in Houston in July 2004 in response to a need for comprehensive repair facilities for aerial access equipment. By performing regularly scheduled maintenance and as-needed repairs, ServicePlus is designed to relieve owners and dealers of the cost of servicing their fleets. It also provides comprehensive repair and refurbishment of damaged equipment. Its work is performed by certified technicians and backed up by warranty. ServicePlus also provides replacement parts for all types of lifting equipment as well as training classes in safe operation.

“We've worked not only on JLG branded machines, but also on a wide range of competitive telehandler and aerial work platform brands for large national rental companies and independent dealers,” said Gullion. “As our service has gained acceptance, we have been able to help customers of all types of lifting equipment concentrate on their core businesses, rather than having their attention diverted by equipment maintenance.”
