The Stow Cutter 3 is now available with a 20-inch blade guard and handles 16-, 18- and 20-inch blades. The saw is offered in either self-propelled or push versions. The two push models offer a 7.5-hp, 203-volt, electric motor or a 13-hp Honda Cyclone engine. The three self-propelled units are powered with 13- or 20-hp Honda Cyclone engines — the latter of which comes with an electric start.

“The Stow Cutter 3 was designed to meet the rental market's challenges and to satisfy everyone from the novice weekend do-it-yourselfer to the demanding professional,” says Bruce Coleman, product manager. “The rental manager can now simplify his/her inventory fleet confident that this one saw will provide successful results for all customers.”

The saw has a reinforced steel box frame that resists warping and adds the strength necessary to reduce vibrations during operation. Reduced vibrations enhance blade performance, minimize blade wear and extend the life of the saw. A hinged front, lift-up blade guard is designed to ensure quick and easy blade replacement while the saw's water system provides an optimum flow and volume of water to the blade while its use of standard hardware materials simplifies maintenance of functions.

Other standard features include an adjustable height handle with cushion grips, a front pointer and roller bearing wheels. The self-propelled models sport a transmission control lever placed on the free-wheel lever that disengages the drive system for simple transportation.
