MEDFORD, N.Y. — Larry Price recently joined Bobcat of New York as branch manager of its new sales, rental and service facility in Medford, N.Y.
Price is a 25-year veteran in the equipment industry who specializes in customer satisfaction and alliances. Price worked with Carson, Calif.-based Multiquip Inc. for 13 years in various capacities. Price moved to the Medford branch from his previous position as branch manager of Bobcat of N.Y.'s Westbury facility.
“After 25 years in the industry, you learn what works and what doesn't, and the new facility has everything a customer wants,” said Price.
The new facility features a spacious showroom with user-friendly sales and rental areas; state-of-the-art service shop; parts department with over-the-counter service; and a warehouse stocked with Bobcat equipment and other manufacturers such as Stow, Ingersoll-Rand, Multiquip and Bosch.
Bobcat of N.Y. hosted an open house Oct. 23 for customers to meet Larry Price and learn how the new facility can benefit them. The Halloween Hoedown-themed event featured a Bobcat rodeo competition for cash prizes; special event-only discounts; giveaways; western barbecue; and family events like pony rides, hayrides and a petting zoo.
