MOLINE, Ill. — Nortrax Inc., John Deere Construction & Forestry Division's largest dealer, acquired the assets of Rush Equipment Co., Michigan.

The newest Nortrax organization will represent both John Deere and Timberjack products out of three locations in Michigan — Detroit, Grand Rapids and Traverse City. Nortrax now operates 56 John Deere construction and forestry equipment retail stores in the U.S.

“With our combined financial and management strengths, we believe we can respond quickly to the equipment, parts and service needs of current John Deere customers and build on that reputation to expand our customer base,” said Jim Earnshaw, Nortrax president.

Nortrax is No. 45 on the RER 100.
