Manitou North America

Manitou North America's MRT 2150P Privilege Series telehandlers feature a Tier-3 Mercedes engine and improvements to the operator compartment. The larger cab has improved visibility because of the curved windshield and new instrument panel. The MRT 2150 offers a 10,000-pound capacity lift with 67 feet, 7 inches of lift height, as well as continuous rotation and frame-leveling to facilitate loads on jobsites. Ergonomic joysticks are another addition, plus all fluids are now housed outside the cab for a cleaner operating environment.

Gehl

Gehl Co.'s new RS10 telescopic handler has a rated lift capacity of 10,000 pounds and a maximum lift height of 44 feet, making it a 4-story machine. The boom features a welded box-section design, which it shares with the Gehl DL Series of telehandlers. The 10,000-pound operating capacity is achieved without the use of outriggers or fluid-filled tires, although outriggers are optional for stability. A rear-axle stabilizer system improves stability by locking the rear axle in position whenever the boom is raised more than 60 degrees, the parking brake is applied, or the PWP system is activated. Other design features include a strong frame with reinforced C-channels, internal wet disc brakes, and a spring-applied, hydraulic release parking brake, which automatically applies when the engine is shut off.

Bobcat

With a rated load capacity of 5,000 pounds and a lift height of 18 feet, the V518 Versahandler TTC is designed for digging, loading, backfilling, stacking and more. The V518 is an alternative to a 1- to 1.5-yard wheel loader because it offers compact size, low ground disturbance, high travel speed and great dump height. Like all Versahandler TTC models, the V518 is available with a canopy or fully enclosed climate-controlled comfort cab.

Case

Case introduces three new telescopic handlers — the TX742, TX842 (pictured) and TX945. The TX742 comes equipped with a 95-hp engine, while the TX842 and TX945 feature a 108-hp engine. The full powershift transmission on the units feature four forward and three reverse gears, providing smooth forward-reverse shifting at any engine speed. All three machines can reach a top speed of 22 mph in forward and 14 mph in reverse for quick maneuvering across the jobsite. The TX742 and TX842 have a forward reach of 29 feet and the TX945 has a forward reach of 31 feet.

Caterpillar

The Cat TH406 and TH407 telehandlers have a rated load capacity of 8,150 pounds. Each unit has a two-section boom, delivering a 20-foot lift height on the TH406 and 24-foot lift height on the TH407. Both telehandlers are powered by the Cat C4.4 diesel engine, which meets U.S. EPA Tier-3 emissions requirements. The turbocharged, after-cooled engine is available in a mechanically controlled configuration. The power train features a limited slip differential fitted in the front axle, enhancing the units' ability to work in difficult underfoot conditions.
