Spurred by emerging demand for portable prime and standby power, Shindaiwa formed a new industrial products division and is now offering a line of sound-attenuated diesel generators under the brand name kWiet Power.

Designed to perform without being obtrusive, kWiet Power generators are available in three sizes — 25 kVA, 45 kVA and 60 kVA. All generator models feature Isuzu diesel engines, full control and output instrumentation, access doors that both lift off easily for maintenance and lock for security, engineered fuel-spill prevention, powder-coat finish, built-in transport/lifting hardware on top, pockets for forklift moving and a transport trailer that incorporates a lift-off auxiliary fuel tank.

Under full load conditions, these generators are designed to run quietly. At 64 to 66 dbA for the three models, the generators are among the quietest available. “All in all these generators are hard workers and good neighbors,” says Dave Dahlstrom, industrial sales and marketing director. “And their size advantage makes for easier handling, lower storage and transportation costs, better structural integrity and space savings on the jobsite.”
