BRUSSELS, Beligium — Michael Farley, president of rental business for Brussels-based Volvo Construction Equipment Rents, has left the company. Patricia MacFarland, CFO for Volvo Rents, will assume the duties of interim president and CEO until a successor is named, the company said.

MacFarland and Scott Hall, executive vice president, stated that the company would continue its business operation in North America and Europe in a “seamless transition.”

“The full strength and support of Volvo Construction Equipment and its parent company, AB Volvo, are fully behind Pat MacFarland and her team of rental industry professionals,” Hall said.

The company has 36 Volvo Rents stores open and 59 additional Volvo Rents outlets under development agreement.
