ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Volvo Construction Equipment Rents, Asheville, N.C., signed a rental franchise agreement with Oakland, Calif.-based All American Rentals.

All American, one of the largest independent rental companies in the Bay Area, with more than 150 years of combined rental industry experience, will open independently-owned rental centers under the Volvo name in the Oakland area, with the first rental center scheduled to open this month. Rental industry veteran Michael Carter owns All American Rentals.

Volvo Rents now has branches in Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and California.

The Volvo Rents program covers all aspects of an operating rental business model. Program features include use of the Volvo brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products, a Volvo Rents proprietary software program, business management and training, facility design, safety training and procedures, and marketing.
