United Rentals Opens Branches

GREENWICH, Conn. — United Rentals last month opened a branch in Woodland, Calif., just west of Sacramento.

“The suburbs of greater Sacramento are enjoying rapid growth, particularly to the north and west of the city,” said Art Ross, branch manager of the two-and-a-half-acre facility.

The company also opened a branch in Bentonville, Ark. The 9,000-square-foot facility will serve customers throughout northwestern Arkansas with equipment rentals, new and used equipment sales, repair and maintenance services, and a comprehensive line of contractor supplies.

“The Ozarks region is a thriving retail hub, and we are pleased to participate in the region's growth,” said Cable Davenport, branch manager for United Rentals.

The new branch carries a broad range of equipment for commercial and industrial construction, renovation and maintenance, including the latest technologies in aerial work platforms. United Rentals also offers equipment delivery, certified safety and professional operator training, and 24-hour emergency response.

Based in Greenwich, Conn., United Rentals is No. 1 on the RER 100.
