Thomas Industries, based in Louisville, Ky., and Generac Portable Products in Jefferson, Wis., signed a long-term supply, licensing and distribution agreement.

Under terms of the deal, Generac will manufacture and sell contractor-duty air compressors using the Thomas and Ultra Air-Pac trademarks. The base compressor will be manufactured by Thomas at its Sheboygan, Wis., facility and supplied to Generac for final assembly, testing and packaging. Generac said it will expand the existing Thomas air compressor product line to address the needs of its customer base and distribution network.
