Texas OPE Chair Elliott Dies

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Pat Elliott, chairman of the board of Texas Outdoor Power Equipment, a lawn and garden distributor, died of cancer recently at the age of 64.

Texas Outdoor Power Equipment started as the Echo distributor for most of the state and later added other product lines. The company later added Oklahoma to its territory.

Elliott is survived by his wife Marge, four children and five grandchildren.
