PHILADELPHIA-Ontario-based Strongco Inc. has agreed to acquire Edelen & Boyer Co., an equipment dealer based in Colmar, Pa., with sales and rental revenues of about $10 million.

"Edelen & Boyer's strong rental component is consistent with one of Strongco's primary strategic objectives: to increase its equipment rental capabilities," said Strongco chairman Larry Pirnak.

Edelen & Boyer, which represents Samsung excavators among other construction equipment lines, will continue to operate from its Colmar location, and all employees, including senior management, will be retained, according to Strongco.

Strongco has more than 80 locations throughout Canada and the mid-Atlantic.
