MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Stephenson's Rental Services last month announced the promotion of two veteran executives of the Mississauga, Ontario-based rental company. Tom Newell was named vice president, business and strategic planning. He currently holds the post of vice president, operations and has been with the company for 11 years. The newly created position will focus on Stephenson's growth initiatives, including new branches and acquisitions.

Wayne Macneall was promoted to vice president, branch operations. Macneall has been with Stephenson's for 16 years and is currently district manager, overseeing nearly half of the company's branch network.

“These two organizational changes will allow us to continue our pursuit of a superior customer experience, while allowing the company to apply resources to its growth initiatives,” said president and CEO Willie Swisher. “Over the years, both Mr. Newell and Mr. Macneall have proven through their energy, tenacity and business acumen that their importance to our business will be further amplified in these new roles.”
