Skyjack Here to Stay, CEO Says
GUELPH, Ontario — Skyjack CEO and president Jim Hacking last month energetically denied a rumor that the company is going out of business.
“We are here to stay,” Hacking said. “Skyjack has no intention of going out of business.” Hacking said the rumor, which he said was initiated by Skyjack's competitors, is “a false allegation,” and that the recent introduction of two new models, the SJIII3226 and the rough terrain SJ7135, proves that the company is healthy and will continue to improve its product line.
Hacking said Guelph, Ontario, Canada-based Skyjack owes its strong financial position to Linamar Corp., a publicly traded $1.4 billion corporation that recently acquired a majority stake in the scissor manufacturer.
“Skyjack continues to have solid, long lasting relationships with [its] customers, and will constantly strive to grow these relationships,” Hacking added.
