Skid Steer Features 11-Foot Hinge Height
When it comes to loading high, Thomas Equipment's new 175 skid-steer loader towers above the pack with a hinge pin height of more than 11 feet.
The 175 performs digging, lifting, loading and pushing. It features a full 1,750-pound lifting capacity with power supplied by a Kubota turbo charged diesel engine. It sets a fast pace on the job site with travel speeds of up to 7.7 mph, ensuring quick cycle times.
Its dual front bucket cylinders, designed to provide high front-end strength and a high breakout force, are combined with heavy-duty boom arms built to withstand the stress of high impact loading.
“With a hinge pin height of more than 11 feet, the 175 is ideal for contractors who are loading trucks or in applications where high loading of lifting is required,” says Peter Mabee, senior manager marketing. “This combined with its quick 7.7 mph ground speed and 4,250-pound breakout force provides a very productive work package.”
The machine comes with a comprehensive no charge customer warranty protection plan — 5 years, 5,000 hours. The Thomas 5-year program includes 3 years, 3,000-hour full machine, plus an additional 2-year, 2,000-hour drive train and Thomas' exclusive 5-year mainframe warranty.
