Equipment buyers seeking a fast and convenient way to sift through data about manufacturers and their products may find relief in a new Web site introduced by the Construction Industry Manu-facturers Association.

The CIMAnet Web site (www.cimanet.com) allows equipment buyers to search for CIMA members by product type and subtype. It lists 23 major categories of construction equipment and industry services, further subdivided into almost 500 subcategories. Contact information is displayed for each company, plus a link to the company's Web site.

"The CIMA product locator provides a real convenience to equipment buyers by centralizing the manufacturers basic contact information in one location," says Chuck Frey, CIMA director of strategic information services.
