Safway Acquires Speedway Scaffold

OMAHA, Neb. -- Safway Steel Products has acquired Speedway Scaffold, which has locations here as well as in Kansas City, Kan. Terms were not announced.

Speedway owner Pat Connolly will serve as a consultant during the transition period. Jerry Johns, Safway's executive vice president of operations, said all other Speedway personnel will become Safway employees.

Safway, based in Waukesha, Wis., operates 48 branches throughout the United States.
