Snorkel

The AB46 articulated self-propelled boom from Snorkel features a working height of up to 52 feet, 9 inches, an outreach of 24 feet, 7 inches, and a 5-foot, 140-degree jib. The unit offers improved maneuverability and a multi-functioning boom operation due to two separate pumps and a tight inside turning radius of 1 foot, 11.6 inches. The boom is offered as either an electric, 2-wheel-drive unit, or a diesel-powered, 4-wheel-drive unit for rough-terrain work.

Skyjack

Skyjack introduces the SJ 61T and SJ 66T telescopic boomlifts. These units feature Skyjack's exclusive axle-based 4-wheel-drive system, which features a “Detroit Locker”-type rear differential and limited slip-front differential. Other key features include a direction-sensing drive and steer-control system as well as a 45-degree steering angle, which boasts a tight turning radius.

Caterpillar

The TH255 compact telehandler from Caterpillar offers compact dimensions and improved maneuverability for efficient work in tight areas. The TH255 has a rated loaded capacity of 5,500 pounds, lift height of 18 feet, 4 inches, and capacity at maximum reach of 1,850 pounds. Equipped with a universal skid-steer coupler, the telehandler can handle a variety of work tools including forks, hooks, buckets, augers and brooms. The TH255 weighs 10,800 pounds and is powered by a Cat C4.4 diesel engine producing a gross power of 84 hp.

Genie Industries introduces the GS-1532 and the GS-1932 (pictured) mini electric scissors, which are also known as “slab scissors.” The two models offer improved maneuverability, a zero inside-turning radius, non-marking tires, a variable-speed DC motor and 25- to 30-percent gradeability among other features.

Bil-Jax introduces the 36XT telescopic boom to its line of self-propelled X-Booms, which features 43 feet of working height and a 32-foot maximum outreach. Weighing in at 4,900 pounds, operators can transport the 36XT on a trailer with a medium-duty SUV or truck. The X-Booms match industry standards with 45-percent gradeability, 3.5-mph drive speed and 4-wheel-drive capability. Hydraulic outriggers have replaced the heavy counterweights found on conventional self-propelled machines.

JLG Industries

JLG's Model 150HAX features one of the highest working heights, and longest outreach and up-and-over heights of almost any self-propelled articulating telescopic boomlift. It has a platform height of 150 feet with an up-and-over height of 79.9 feet, a horizontal outreach of 79.25 feet, and a restricted platform capacity of 1,000 pounds. Other standard features include 165-degree platform rotation and full-time 4-wheel drive.

Stellar Industries

Stellar Industries introduces the EC3200 electric/hydraulic telescopic crane to its crane series. The EC3200 has an 11,500-foot-pound rating, and has a lifting capacity of 3,200 pounds. The crane features 15 feet of reach along with less than 8 feet of stowed length. The lightweight unit also has a low stow height of 24 inches, and a mounting configuration allowing it to be mounted on a unit with 20- or 14-inch-deep compartments.
