SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Rental Service Corp. opened a branch in Pharr, Texas, in the upper Rio Grande Valley. It's the company's second location in the fast-growing San Benito metropolitan area.

“As development in the upper valley increased, the demand for rental equipment has taken off with it,” said Ed Ruddick, general manager of both RSC branches in the city. “This new store will allow us to better serve our customers by being closer to them.”

The branch is on a 1.5-acre site, with a 6,500-square-foot building with a three-bay shop and showroom for display of equipment and supplies. The branch carries a full line of construction and industrial equipment for rent and purchase, along with tools, supplies and construction-related merchandise.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based RSC, which now has 484 branches, is No. 2 on the RER 100.
