WOODLAND, Calif - The Rental Industry Association membership recently re-elected Tony Beringer of Baker Party Rentals, Costa Mesa, Calif., as president of the group formerly known as the California Rental Association. Houston Stiles, Chapin Rentals, Oxnard, and Larry Pedersen, A Tool Shed, Campbell, were newly elected to the executive board as vice president and secretary, respectively. Bob DuBose, Guy Rents, Chico, was re-elected association treasurer.

New members to the board are Laird Burns, Allied Equipment Rentals, Glendale, and Rusty Parr of AV Party Rentals, Newhall. Re-elected to the board are Ted DeVries, Vallejo Rent-all, Vallejo; Ron Irvin, San Pedro Rentals, San Pedro; Nick Nicholson, E-Z Equipment, Escondido; and Joe Wiest, Wiest Rental & Sales, Riverside.

Chairman of the board Paul Powers Jr. said the number of voters was the largest in years.
