Rolls Scaffold Acquires Rusmar High Lift Rental

VENTURA, Calif. — Hageman, Stansberry & Associates last month announced that it completed the sale of Rusmar High Lift Rental to Rolls Scaffold & High Reach Equipment, which was effective July 1, 2004.

Ventura, Calif.-based Rolls Scaffold & High Reach Equipment now has three locations with the recent addition of Rusmar. “We were looking for an expansion opportunity in the Los Angeles and South Bay areas,” said Mike Rolls, president. “We will expand and update the inventory while integrating our systems into the new location. This will be of great benefit to our growing customer base.”

Rusmar was a single location high-lift rental company based in Long Beach, Calif. It was founded in 1983 and operated by rental industry veteran LeRoy McNees.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Hageman, Stansberry & Associates (HS&A) is a mergers and acquisitions firm that specializes strictly in the special event and equipment rental industry. It has offices in Arlington, Texas, and Cameron Park, Calif.
