The Rental Industry Association, which in April announced a cooperative agreement with the American Rental Association, re-elected eight California-based rental executives to continue their roles on the group's executive committee and board of directors.

Re-elected to serve second one-year terms were president Larry Pedersen of A Tool Shed in Campbell, vice president John Wetherholt (Fagan/Baylift in Newark), treasurer Dale Blackwell (Aba Daba Rents in Glendale), and secretary Laird Burns (Allied Equipment Rentals, also in Glendale). Tony Beringer will continue as chairman of the board.

Pedersen, Blackwell, Bob DuBose (Guy Rents in Chico), Mitch Gutierrez (Orbit Rentals in Whittier), and Raymond Kay (Delano Rental Center in Delano) were re-elected to three-year terms on the Woodland, Calif.-based RIA's board.

The board members began serving their terms July 1.
