MALIBU, Calif. - RER announced the appointment of Gary Goldman as publisher, effective Sept. 18. Goldman oversees RER magazine, RER Reports newsletter and all other ancillary products, including the Web site, tabloids, research and supplements.

"Gary is a very bright and sound strategic thinker who has excellent publishing and leadership skills," said Sarah Frankson, vice president, Industrial Division, Intertec Publishing. "With our editorial staff, there is little question that Gary can take the RER franchise to the next level."

Goldman joins RER from Pfingsten Publishing in St. Louis, where he served as vice president/publisher of DECOR Magazine and director of international marketing for the Art/Framing Group.

"I am excited to become a part of the industry and look forward to working with the RER team to expand our role as the industry authority on information and analysis," Goldman said.
