PHOENIX and OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — RER has signed on as a sponsor of the Lift and Access Showcase & Symposium. RER's parent company Penton Media will co-sponsor this year's event. Guy Ramsey, president of Maximum Capacity LLC, which publishes Lift and Access, said the partnership with RER and Penton Media will broaden and strengthen the annual Equipment Showcase.
The Lift and Access Showcase & Symposium will be held in conjunction and collocated with the Ritchie Brothers' auction held during the week of Oct. 23 at its facility in Orlando, Fla. This new larger venue will provide ample opportunity for manufacturers to display their products and give attendees unparalleled access to the latest equipment on the market today.
“The Lift and Access Showcase and Symposium event collocated onsite with a world-renowned Ritchie Bros. Auction event is clearly a winning formula,” said David Miller, group publisher of several Penton Media publications including RER. “About 45 percent of all rental company revenue and activity is in the lift and access segment. By participating with this event, RER magazine, and other Penton Media publications, serves not only this segment and all of these dealers, but it also opens the door for us to engage other related suppliers as well as different types of general equipment to showcase and support buying activity for their brands in Orlando.”
Now in its sixth year, the Lift and Access Equipment Showcase & Symposium is an interactive industry event that provides a venue for equipment manufacturers and aftermarket vendors to connect with buyers and users of a variety of lifting and construction equipment. More than 100 pieces of equipment will be on hand for demonstration, and educational seminars will be presented throughout the event.
