Portable Heater Warms Jobsites

Mr. Heater's Big Buddy indoor-safe portable propane heater has three heat settings of 4,000, 9,000 and 18,000 Btu/hour. The Big Buddy can heat up to 400 square feet, supplying 6 to 12 hours of heat from two 1-pound propane cylinders or 120 to 240 hours of heat from one or two 20-pound cylinders using optional hose attachments.

“Because of its larger heat output, the Big Buddy is perfect for use by contractors in building and construction, warehousing and other professionals working in cold environments,” says Jeff Mack, vice president of sales and marketing for Mr. Heater. “Plus, it's an excellent standby for emergency heat in case of power outages.”

The heater is CSA approved for temporary indoor and outdoor use in recreational and commercial applications such as barns, shelters, RV's, workshops, sporting events and camping facilities.

The Big Buddy weighs 15 pounds and offers a dual heating system: radiant heat comfort and a fan-powered convection heat airflow using four D-cell batteries. Other features include a low oxygen sensor shutoff system; built-in tip over shutoff switch and a hose attachment storage compartment under the heater for 20-pound cylinder connection hoses.

Verified by Jeff Mack, vice president of sales and marketing for Mr. Heater.
