Doug Zoerb has been named administrator of marketing and communications with Compaction America for the Bomag and Hypac product lines. The Kewanee, Ill.-based company has also appointed John Verworn as vice president of domestic sales.

David Rathbun was promoted to acting director of human resources for Snorkel, St. Joseph, Mo.
