Paving Breakers Designed to Reduce Fatigue
Kaeser Compressors' new ergonomic paving breakers are available in 50-, 60- and 90-pound models. The KPB series tools are specifically designed to reduce fatigue and increase productivity, without compromising performance or price. Plus, integral noise mufflers reduce noise pollution and the risk of hearing loss.
A variety of tool steels such as chisels, points, asphalt cutters, or ground rod drives are available to handle specific applications. All of Kaeser's MobilairTools are made from top-quality raw materials, according to the company. The valves, pistons, and other moving parts are made from shock-resistant tool steel and are heat treated to a specified Rockwell hardness for toughness and durability.
Chance Chartters, applications engineer for Kaeser Compressors, says the KPB series of paving breakers are designed from the outset to be ergonomic. “Our KPB series paving breakers reduce joint and back stress, and can also help minimize workers' compensation claims and injury,” he says. “This product's development was a direct result of meeting the needs of today's construction and demolition companies who want to safeguard the health of their employees while maximizing operations and efficiency.”
