Oregon Rental Vet Dies

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Bob Halvorsen, longtime Northwest rental veteran, died recently after battling bone cancer. He was 74.

Mr. Halvorsen founded Bob Halvorsen's Rental Center here in 1979, handing it over to his son Charlie in 1985. "He was here right up to the end like most rental guys are," his son said.

Mr. Halvorsen was a member of the American Rental Association since 1965, and had served as president of the Southern Oregon Rental Association for several years.
