HOUSTON — National Trench Safety, a Houston-based company that rents and sells trench safety and traffic safety equipment, opened a new branch in San Antonio, Texas. The branch will be managed by Wes Jones, central regional manager for NTS and a veteran of more than 25 years in the trench safety and traffic safety industry.

NTS has facilities in Houston and Beaumont, Texas.

“This new branch now gives NTS three large and fully staffed branch operations in Texas,” said NTS president Ron Chilton. “We are very pleased to have a manager such as Wes Jones who has deep industry experience and a long and successful track record to head up our new location. Our current plans call for NTS to open at least two additional branch operations in 2005. In 2005, NTS will continue to look for existing trench safety and traffic safety companies that we may be able to acquire, as well as to open additional new branch operations.”
