NES Relocates Massachusetts Branch, Adds Cranes
WORCESTER, Mass. — NES/Shaughnessy Crane Service, a National Equipment Services branch about 60 miles west of Boston, relocated to a new state-of-the-art facility across town.
The company added cranes to its inventory of aerial lifts to meet the demands of Boston's booming crane business, according to vice president of sales Joe Conley. The branch offers products from Genie Industries, SkyJack, JLG Industries, OmniQuip and others.
“The Worcester branch is one of the top performing branches in the region as well for NES as a whole,” said NES/Shaughnessy Crane Service president Ben Robin. He added the company expects greater results with its new inventory over the coming years.
The branch, formerly owned by the family of Steve Shaughnessy, NES' Northeast division vice president, was purchased by the Evanston, Ill.-based firm in 1998.
NES is No. 6 on the RER 100.
